Her experiences in environmental education:

In my role as Outreach Coordinator for Wild South, I lead nature hikes for kids and families and people of all ages and most abilities in the Bankhead National Forest and Sipsey Wilderness; through Wild South’s Forests For Life program, I provide workshops and presentations during Earth Month for students in Lawrence County public schools, particularly for young people in the Lawrence County Indian Education Program; past occasional volunteer instructor at Camp McDowell.

Her goals for EEAA:

To give all teachers, traditional and non-traditional, access to ways of learning about nature and to convey nature experiences to their students.
