Jennifer is the Outreach Administrator with the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center at the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, Auburn University

She has been a member of EEAA for 6 years and is an incumbent seeking reelection to the board.

Auburn University- BS in Biology

Her experiences in environmental education:

I have worked / volunteered in environmental education for 15 years. The past 8.5 years I have run the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center for Auburn University. Approximately 5000 school children attend EE field trips each year. We also present monthly EE programs to the community. I worked as a Teacher/ Naturalist for Landmark Park in Dothan, Alabama for 2 years. As a stay at home mom I served as a Girl Scout leader and PTA board member. I taught extra- curricular astronomy and reptile classes for my children’s schools.

Her goals for EEAA:

My goals for EEAA are to help make them more well known by creating an east central Alabama group that meets quarterly; push EE certification ; and helping in any way I can to have a statewide EE curriculum in the state.
