The Turtlekeeper Classroom Grant

Jeffrey Scott Hughes, one of our founding members, connected many adults and children to their natural world. He embodied the mission of EEAA. While instilling his love of the environment through his Native American heritage, he changed the culture of his school. To continue his legacy, EEAA is proud to be the sponsor of the TurtleKeeper Classroom Grant.

Funds may be used to implement environmental projects, take students on field trips, or to bring environmental speakers to your classrooms.

Any classroom teacher who is a member of EEAA may apply for this grant. All completed applications must be e-mailed or postmarked on or before September 30, 2016. For more information, download the application.
