Wow–what a fast year! When 2013 began and I was elected President of EEAA, I knew that there would be so much to do. I had so many goals–and still do!
We are offering more Educator Workshops and Field trips around the state to help get more teachers “hooked” on environmental education. We have sponsored Aldo Leopold workshops in several locations. We have Growing Roots workshop this summer for educators to bring their own children to… see here for more information on that. We have offered Project Wet, Project Wild and Project Learning Tree to many teachers and pre-service teachers this year. We also support other workshops offered by Legacy, Partners in Environmental Education. Go to Legacy’s website for all the details!
Serving as EEAA President was an honor. What a privilege to work with so many inspirational teachers from across the state! Please get more involved!
